Police: Man used counterfeit money to buy video games at Greenwood Walmart

GREENWOOD, Ind. (July 7, 2015) – Greenwood police are looking for a man who used counterfeit cash to buy video games at a Walmart store.

On June 8, the man bought four Xbox video games using 13 counterfeit $20 bills. He left the store in a dark-colored, four-door wagon-type vehicle. The store is located at 1133 N. Emerson Ave. in Greenwood.

Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 317-262-8477 (TIPS) or 800-222-8477 (TIPS). You can also text “INDYCS” plus your tip to 274637 (CRIMES) or submit information online at www.CrimeTips.org.

Information leading to a felony arrest could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
