Two people shot on city’s east side early Thursday morning

INDIANAPOLIS (June 4, 2015) – Two people were shot on Indy’s east side early Thursday morning.

Police responded to a call about shots fired near North Parker Avenue and East 11th Street just after 2:30 a.m. When they arrived on the scene, officers found two people shot – one in the leg and one in the ankle.

Officers say an argument started at a nearby gas station and continued to Parker Avenue were shots were fired.

Both victims were transported to Eskenazi, but police say their injuries are non-life threatening.

Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding this shooting.
