INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (June 3, 2015)–  A man was hurt after a hit-and-run crash on Indianapolis’ northeast side Wednesday morning.

Emergency crews responded to the intersection near E. 38th Street and N. Arlington Avenue around 9:40 a.m. in reference to a person struck.

Police said a male victim was found at the scene. He was transported to IU Health Methodist Hospital.

Authorities were searching for a red SUV that was last seen driving southbound on Arlington Avenue.

Investigators from IMPD said the incident appeared to be the result of a domestic dispute in which a woman intentionally swerved into a man and hit him. The man was able to identify the suspect and the vehicle. He has since been released from the hospital.
