Jeep drives into pond in Fishers subdivision early Wednesday morning

FISHERS, Ind. (June 3, 2015) – Two women are in custody after Hamilton County police and fire crews pulled a Jeep out of a pond in Fishers just after 3 a.m. Wednesday.

Officers responded to the Royalwood Subdivision near 116th Street and Ollio Road and found the vehicle half-submerged in the water. Divers were also dispatched to the scene and surveyed the water as a precaution.

Police said they suspect alcohol was involved in the accident. Officers have spoken to the driver and are continuing to investigate.

No injuries have been reported.
