INDIANAPOLIS (May 21, 2015) – You can take a ride around the Circle City today in an IndyCar—thanks to the ridesharing service Uber.

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Uber users can use the app to request a ride in a two-seater IndyCar that will take them around downtown on their “own personal racetrack.”

To get the ride, open the Uber app between 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. and look for the “IndyCar” option at the bottom of the screen.

The ride is free, but the company expects high demand and encourages users to keep trying while the promotion is ongoing. Uber said there’s only one IndyCar available and room for a single passenger.
