Davis, Mosquera-Perea dismissed from IU basketball program

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (May 13, 2015)– Two Indiana University basketball players were dismissed from the team Thursday.

IU Senior Assistant Athletic Director J.D. Campbell released the following statement:

“Indiana Men’s Basketball announces that sophomore Devin Davis and senior Hanner Mosquera-Perea have been dismissed from the program effective immediately for not living up to their responsibilities to the program.”

On Monday night, Davis was cited for marijuana possession. He was not placed under arrest. Mosquera-Perea was present at the time of the incident, but he was not arrested either.
