Man dies after motorcycle accident on city’s east side

LAWRENCE, Ind. (May 10, 2015) – A man died after a motorcycle accident in Lawrence on Sunday night.

Police received a call about the accident just before 11 p.m. and responded to the scene at the intersection of Pendleton Pike and McCoy St.

Police confirm the motorcycle driver lost control of the vehicle while traveling eastbound. The bike flipped and rolled several times.

The driver was wearing a helmet, but died from his injuries at the scene, police said.

Police are continuing to investigate the accident for possible causes.
