(May 9, 2015) – According to the New York Daily News, an announcement with details regarding Tom Brady’s suspension is expected next week.
The New York Daily News reports that it’s no longer a matter of “if” NFL commissioner Roger Goodell will suspend Brady, but it’s a matter of “how long” he will suspend him.
Brady will be the highest-profile player ever suspended in the 96-year history of the NFL.
The “DeflateGate” report came out on Wednesday. It found probable that the New England Patriots deliberately deflated footballs and suggests quarterback Tom Brady was “generally aware” of it in the January 18 AFC Championship against the Indianapolis Colts.

In his first public comments since the release of an NFL-commissioned report on the “Deflategate” scandal, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady told sports reporter Jim Gray on Thursday night that he doesn’t yet “have really any reaction.”
Brady also said the controversy has “absolutely not” detracted from the joy of winning the Super Bowl, and said he’s thankful for his teammates and family.
