HopeLine from Verizon is a national philanthropy that supports Indiana non-profits with cash grants and donation of phones for survivors of domestic violence, loaded with text and minutes for use.
This May, the HopeLine drive will be on behalf of the Indiana Coalition against Domestic Violence, a statewide alliance of domestic violence programs, support agencies and concerned individuals.
We ask that you donate a no-longer-used wireless phone or accessory, in any condition, and from any service provider. Your donation will benefit victims and survivors of domestic violence by providing them with a vital link to support services and a safe line of communication to family, loved ones and employers.
HopeLine from Verizon will have Donation Days at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway throughout the month of May, so join in the festivities at the track and do good while you’re at it!
The complete list of Donation Days at the track are as follows:
- Angie’s List Grand Prix of Indianapolis, Saturday, May 9
- Indianapolis 500 Qualifications, Saturday, May 16
- Old National Armed Forces Pole Day, Sunday, May 17
- Coors Light Carb Day, Friday, May 22
- Indianapolis 500, Sunday, May 24
Look for HopeLine volunteers and bins as you arrival at the track.
If you can’t make it out to the Speedway, there are plenty of other public donation locations. Click here to see the complete list.
