FISHERS, Ind. (May 6, 2015) – Police arrested a man accused of trying to steal tires and rims from a Fishers resident’s car, although a second suspect remains on the loose.

Early Tuesday morning, a man heard a suspicious noise outside his home in the Brooks Chase Neighborhood (131st Street and Brooks School Road). When he looked out the window, he saw two men taking tires and rims off his vehicle. He called 911 to report the theft in progress and gave police a description of the men and their vehicle.

Fishers police set up a perimeter and found one suspect—later identified as Daniel L. Davis, 25, Fishers—running between houses in the 12600 block of Justice Crossing. He was taken into custody on a theft charge. Police didn’t locate the second suspect despite an extensive search and the aid of a K-9 from the Carmel Police Department.

Anyone with information about the case should call the Fishers Police Department at 317-595-3300.
