INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (May 3, 2015) – On Wednesday, May 6, CBS4 Indy will compete in The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Cook-Off. The event will raise funds for The Bed & Bread Club which provides nutritious meals through feeding programs, nights of shelter for the homeless, assistance with rent or utilities to prevent folks from becoming homeless in the first place, and more.

Our chefs Tim Doty, Katie Solove and Lindsay Riley will be serving up Asian-Inspired Burgers from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Georgia Street. This out-of-the ordinary burger is topped with crunchy Asian slaw and loaded with flavors of hoisin, ginger and Sirracha for a kick. The burgers will be served with a side and a drink for $10, and all proceeds benefit the local programs and services of The Salvation Army.

Our goal is to sell the most burgers in order to raise the most money for The Salvation Army, so if you can’t make it to the cook-off, you can still help us win by donating to the event here!
