FISHERS, Ind. (April 28, 2015) - Hannah Wilson is missed and well-loved in Hamilton County. Her funeral service will be held Saturday at the Fishers High School Auditorium at 7 p.m.

A family member said Sunday, at a gathering at Hannah’s father’s house, that they are surrounded by so much love and support, from all the people that loved the 22-year-old, making things just a bit easier in what has been an incredibly difficult time.

Wilson was a 2011 graduate of Hamilton Southeastern High School. She was an avid cheerleader and had planned, after graduating Indiana University in May, to be the assistant cheerleading coach at Fishers High School.

Her childhood cheerleading coach said Wilson was a figure the entire team looked up to, and one that left a legacy in Hamilton County.

“She was so special, she left a legacy here so when she’s gone, that’s tough, but we know we have an angel up there looking over us,” said Jamie Troyer, Hannah’s childhood cheerleading coach.

The Wilson family is asking that donations be made in Hannah’s name to the Indiana University LGBT Center or the Indiana University Alzheimer's Disease Center.
