Hurricane Katrina victims get help from local volunteers

GREENWOOD, Ind. (April 18, 2015) – A Greenwood church came together Saturday, to help victims of Hurricane Katrina.

They spent the day helping to build homes that will eventually make their way to families who are victims of Katrina.

The workers gathered at Mount Pleasant Christian church in Greenwood to put the pieces together.

Once the homes are framed, they will be hoisted onto trailers and driven to Louisiana.
