Missing Martinsville man found, reunited with family

Martinsville police said a missing man has been found and reunited with his family.

Police issued an alert after Christopher Baugh, 37, went missing Sunday afternoon. He was found safe on the south side of town, police said.


MARTINSVILLE, Ind. (April 13, 2015) – Police are continuing to look for a man with a mental disability who was reported missing Sunday afternoon.

Christopher Baugh, 37, was last seen around 3:30 p.m. in the 700 block of East Jackson Street.

Baugh is 5-feet-8-inches tall with dark hair.

He was reported wearing a green sweatshirt with a moose on the front and jeans. However, police say he may have since taken that sweatshirt off.

Police say Baugh lives in Bloomington, and could have walked there from Martinsville.

About 75 police officers and firefighters were conducting the search, but Baugh has not yet been located.

Anyone who believes they have seen this man, or who has any information about his whereabouts, are urged to call 911.
