Downtown Indianapolis is coming alive with Final Four fever. And if you have a ticket to the game you have your weekend plans locked in. If not, there are still free, family fun events for you to enjoy.
"Starting on Friday you have open practices and a Reese's College All Star game which are free to attend so if you don't have a game ticket you can go in there and see how the stadium is built for basketball and really enjoy those," said John Dedman with Indy Sports Corp.
Also beginning at noon on Friday is Fan Fest at the Indiana Convention Center. Entry there is $10 for adults and $5 for children.
"That's really a fan activation area where there are autograph signings and opportunities for kids to run around and shoot baskets," said Dedman.
Back to more free events and a highlight for the weekend--the March Madness Music Festival at White River State Park. Entry is free and no ticket required. But you have to get there early each day to guarantee you get inside the event before capacity is reached.
Big names like Lady Antebellum, Imagine Dragons and Rhianna will perform.
