Kassig honored by Pacers

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (March 21, 2015) — The Hoosier native, Abdul Rahman Peter Kassig, who was killed by members of ISIS last year was honored by the Indianapolis Pacers Saturday night at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

Kassig was honored with the Indiana Heroes award for his humanitarian work.

The 26-year-old was killed in November of 2014 after he was kidnapped while doing aid work in Syria.
