INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (March 10, 2015)- A Greensburg woman is dealing with losing her husband twice.
Last December, someone stole Melissa Wickline’s car and unknowingly got away with her husband’s ashes.
“The person, whoever it may be, whatever the case may be, they took away my world. They took my heart, my key, my everything. That was the only thing I had of him. Now I don’t have nothing. Nothing,” explains Melissa Wickline, whose husband’s ashes were stolen.
Wickline reported her car was stolen car from the Family Dollar on Brookville Road on the city’s east side.
“My husband is in a car with a stranger and I don’t know where to look for him,” explains Wickline.
Melissa and Rodney Wickline were together for 20 years. Rodney died from brain cancer in 2012.
Wickline doesn’t care about getting her car back. She just wants her husband home.
“Please drop it off, turn it into crime stoppers, the police station, a neighbor, have somebody do it for you, I don’t care that’s all I want,” explains Wickline.
Wickline’s car is a 1999 green Pontiac Grand Prix with Indiana license plate 528BNY.
