(March 4, 2015) – Little Rosie is beside herself—and she won’t stop crying. But there’s a solution: just turn on some Taylor Swift.

The 6-month-old takes center stage in a video posted on YouTube last month and featured this week on Yahoo Parenting. In the video, Rosie cries as babies tend to do and then stops in her tracks when she hears Taylor Swift’s “Blank Space” playing.

Views of the video have skyrocketed since Swift shared it through her Facebook and Twitter accounts.

Rosie’s mom, Erica Blank, says her daughter was tired because it was close to nap time.

“I asked my husband, Jon, to pull up ‘Blank Space’ on the computer, mostly because we wanted to videotape Rosie’s reaction to the song,” the first-time mom says.

It’s not an isolated event, either. Erica said Swift manages to get Rosie’s attention in the car, too.

“Rosie isn’t a fan of her rear-facing carseat and the little owl I hung up for her back there. When she’s fussy I play her favorites: ‘Blank Space’ or ‘Shake It Off’ … and she calms right down.”
