Building used to work on race cars on west side catches fire

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (February 28, 2015) — Wayne Township Fire Department was called to the 8100 block of West Crawfordsville Road on Saturday evening for a building fire.

When they arrived, there was smoke coming from the building but no one was inside.

The building is private owned, and the owner uses it to work on race cars, candle making and storage.

The fire is being investigated and fire crews do not know how it started.
