(Feb. 18, 2015) – More than 40 Indiana counties were under a travel alert Wednesday morning as dangerous wind chills and snow made travel challenging.

Several counties declared yellow travel advisories, meaning drivers are urged to use extra caution because road conditions could be hazardous.

A few counties in the southern part of the state were under orange travel watches, meaning only essential travel (to and from work, emergency situations) is recommended.

As of early Wednesday morning, Clark County remained under a red travel warning, restricting travel there to emergency management workers only.
