ELIZABETHTOWN, Ind (Feb. 10, 2015)– An Elizabethtown man has been arrested twice for allegedly messaging minors inappropriately. His most recent arrest was Monday.

A different central Indiana family says Brandon Callahan, 20, has also been inappropriately messaging their 14-year-old daughter.

Kealy Braughton says her daughter, Piper, has received vulgar pictures and explicit messages for months.

Piper says she has never met Callahan, rather he began randomly messaging her on social media.

“It was like off-and-on all of the time– him sending pictures and he wouldn’t stop,” said Piper.

“Sending messages and pictures of his genitalia and talking about things he wanted to do with her sexually,” said Braughton.

Braughton says she filed a report against Callahan who lives in Nashville, Ind. However, as it turns out he was arrested Monday for inappropriately  communicating with a different minor in Brown County. Court records show he was arrested for the same crime in September 2014.

“He needs to be put away,” said Braughton.

Callhan bonded out of jail, and Piper says she’s scared that he will continue to harass her. He most recently contacted her on Sunday.

“I want him out of my life. I want to get on Facebook and not think he’s going to message me again,” said Piper.

Braughton says she hopes Callahan is charged for messaging Piper, but she’s worried that there could be other victims considering his checkered past.

"Now, those other girls can see that it’s not just them and they need to speak to somebody,” said Braughton.

No charges have been filed against Callahan in connection with his alleged correspondence with Piper.
