INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (February 7, 2015) — After the Columbus North boys basketball team played in the Hoosier Invitational, they didn’t hurry right home.

A member of their team, Josh Speidel, was in Methodist hospital in Indianapolis recovering from injuries he sustained after being involved in a car accident last weekend.

Josh’s teammates went to the hospital parking lot outside of his room to hold up their mascot, a bulldog, and a banner in support of him.

The team played in the Hoosier Invitational on Saturday evening at Banker’s Life Fieldhouse in downtown Indianapolis.

They played against East Central, but unfortunately came up just short, 58-56.
