INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (January 24, 2015) — The group “A Bigger Vision” held a rally on Monument Circle on Saturday.

The rally’s focus was the city’s homeless population.

The group wants the attention of city leaders and hopes to increase funding to help the city’s homeless.

Some critics, like one homeless man at the event, say the process to get into shelters is too difficult.

“There needs to be a place to go, a centralized area people can go without having to worry about their past,” said Thomas Babb, who has been homeless for about five years.

Organizers hope to strengthen a city-wide discussion.
