    It will be much cooler today and stay chilly through the weekend. We started off in the 40s this morning which was 15-20 degrees cooler than Thursday.     Today’s weather may become active at times. All of central Indiana is in at least a SLIGHT risk for severe storms. U.S.31 and areas to the east are one step above that, in an ENHANCED risk.   • Quiet weather today and tomorrow, with increasing storm chances mid-week

    There is a chance for an isolated BRIEF shower south of I-70 today. Other than that it will be a quiet Monday with a cloud/sun mix and a high of 70.     The next two days will be the warmest days we’ve seen so far in 2017! Today will be the first time we hit 80 this year! Our average high is 63, but we won’t set a new record today…the old record is 85.  We’ll see more dry time than wet today, with just an isolated T-shower chance through the afternoon and a high of 80.     We’ll have a few more clouds around today with temperatures getting into the 70s in Indy. North of I-70 we’ll top out in the upper 60s with more clouds and the chance for a passing shower.     It is a wet start for areas southeast of Indy. We’ll keep the chance for rain through 10-11 a.m. After that, we’re all dry for the remainder of the day.  We’ll see a mix of sun and clouds this afternoon with a high of 68. Conditions will remain quiet through this evening. We stay dry on Wednesday and Thursday before we return to an unsettled pattern.     It is going to be a very mild and breezy Monday with more dry time than wet. High temperatures will get well into the 70s thanks to a strong southerly breeze at 15-20 mph.  You can definitely get away with shorts and a T-shirt today!
