  • A Severe Thunderstorm Watch Continues Until 8pm

    We’ll have a risk for strong to severe thunderstorms through this evening. Periods of heavy rain are likely during the evening rush hour. Grant, Blackford and Jay Counties are under a Severe T-storm Watch until 8pm. Severe weather is possible today. The watch continues through 8pm.     We’ll have a slight risk for severe weather on Thursday. Ahead of a cold front widespread strong storms are likely. The main threat will be between 2 and 11pm.     Our weekend will start with low temperatures near freezing. We have a Frost Advisory in effect west of US 31 and a Freeze Warning over east central Indiana. In spite of the chilly start this will be the warmest weekend of the year so far. Our average high this time of year is 61 degrees.
