Two children dead after train crash in Henryville

HENRYVILLE, Ind.– The Clark County Sheriff’s Department says two people died Wednesday after a crash involving a train.

WDRB reports the victims were two children and that the woman driver of the vehicle has serious injuries.

The crash occurred around 1:30 p.m. at County Road 160 and Pennsylvania Street in Henryville.

Investigators tell the station that a CSX train hit a white SUV driven by the woman. The woman was reportedly taken to University Hospital.

The circumstances of the crash are unknown at this time. This story is developing.
