Dry but cloudy conditions will persist for the next three days. The colder air has arrived in central Indiana! We have an upper level low that will bring rain and snow showers to the Great Lakes over the next three days. While we won't see precipitation from that, temperatures will remain in the low 40s each afternoon.
High temperatures will be in the low 40s today and stay there through the weekend. You'll also notice wind chills in the 30s through this afternoon.
Lights at the Brickyard is back tonight! It will be dry at IMS, but cool and breezy.
Looking ahead to the weekend, Saturday will be dry and Sunday will be unsettled. On Sunday precipitation will likely start of as snow showers across northern Indiana and change over to rain across the entire state as the temperature gets above freezing.
For those headed to Lucas Oil for the Big 10 Championship game on Saturday night, you will be dry heading in and out of the stadium.
We are looking at a rather unsettled week of weather next week. We have precipitation chances on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday. On Tuesday, precipitation will fall as all rain but colder air moves in late next week, to the point where we could see our first accumulating snowfall late next week.
