Credit card skimming device found on ATM at downtown hotel

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.– Police say a credit card skimming device was found at the Omni Severin Hotel in downtown Indianapolis.

According to a police report, a hotel employee discovered the device on the ATM machine in the front lobby Sunday afternoon.

The hotel is located at 40 Jackson Place.

If you were a patron of the hotel, you should check your bank account to see if your card has been compromised. If you see unauthorized transactions, contact your financial institution right away, cancel your card, and request a copy of your bank statement.

Victims can also call police and fill out a fraud report.

Police have not said if any victims have been identified or if there is any security footage.
