From September-like warmth to a December-like chill

From September to December. That's weather change Hoosiers will feel as we go from Friday to Saturday. A strong cold front will bring that change. Ahead of the front we'll have near record highs on Friday before rain and t-storms move in late Friday through Friday night. Behind the front the coldest air of the season will settle in for the weekend. In fact, we'll be so cold that our first hard freeze of the season is likely over the next few days.
