TIMELINE: Rain expected in central Indiana on Election Day

After a long campaign season, Election Day is upon us. An approaching cold front will bring clouds and rain and eventually, cooler air. Tuesday will dawn cloudy and rain will develop to our northwest. Light rain is likely by mid-afternoon and will continue into the evening before diminishing. Rainfall amounts will be light, with most areas receiving less than a tenth of an inch. Cooler air will move in behind the front and even colder air can be expected later this week. We'll have both our first frost and our first freeze this weekend.
