Investigation underway after shots fired at home of Marion County sheriff’s deputy
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Police confirmed Thursday that someone fired shots at the door of a Marion County sheriff’s deputy late Wednesday night.
According to an incident report from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to a home near 21st Street and Arlington Avenue just after 11 p.m. to investigate.
The deputy wasn’t hurt in the incident, which is listed as a case of criminal recklessness and vandalism.
The shooting remains under investigation.
