Rain and cooler air are moving in
With a high of 78 degrees, Indianapolis tied a 55-year old record. After a record setting day, get ready for a cool down. An approaching cold front will bring rain and a few t-storms this evening. The heaviest rain will fall north of I-70. A few showers will linger into Thursday morning and temperatures will be near seasonal levels through the weekend. In the long-range outlook there is a chance of rain for Election Day.
