Colts’ Pat McAfee raising money for homeless Indy veterans, will match funds up to $50K

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.– Colts punter Pat McAfee is raising money for homeless Indianapolis veterans as part of Salute to Service month.

The money will go towards improving the quality of living conditions at the Indianapolis Domiciliary Care facility. McAfee said the facility has become an active clinical rehabilitation and treatment program for veterans.

As of now, the facility has the basic necessities to provide to the veterans. McAfee says he wants to improve the conditions there and show homeless veterans that we’re grateful for their service.

He will match the total amount of funds raised, up to $50,000.

“It’s Hoosiers helping Hoosiers,” he said. “It’s what we do.”

Donations are being collected online via GoFundMe. Click here for more information.
