Our near-record warmth continues Wednesday before rain arrives

With a high of 79 degrees, Tuesday was the second warmest temperature recorded, past Halloween, in Indianapolis history. The city was just two degrees away from a record high temperature set in 1950. We'll have one more warm day on Wednesday when we are forecast to tie the record high of 78 degrees from 1961. A cold front move this way Wednesday night and bring a round of rain and t-storms. Rain will continue through Thursday morning with skies clearing Thursday afternoon. We'll find it cooler behind our next weather system with highs in the 60s through the weekend.
