INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Police say they believe alcohol was a factor in a two-car crash that caused an SUV to flip over and sent a driver to the hospital.
Police say the crash occurred just after 2:30 a.m. at Ohio and East Street.
According to police, Hannah Deane, 22, was driving southbound on East Street when she collided with a male driver who was westbound on Ohio Street.
Deane told police she had the green light. However, the other driver said his light was green, and she blew through the signal hitting and overturning his car.
The male driver was taken to IU Health Methodist Hospital with unknown injuries.
Deane was also transported to a local hospital to be checked out. She was later arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
