Rain for Wednesday night

A cold front will spread moisture across the state Wednesday. After a sunny start, clouds will build after lunchtime. A few showers are possible after 4pm with the best chance for rain after sunset, mainly north of I-70. Clouds and a few sprinkles are likely for the Thursday morning rush hour and temperatures will fall during the day. Sunshine returns Friday and temperatures will warm into the 70s this weekend.


Rainfall is above average so far this fall.


Clouds will build late Wednesday.


Rain develops Wednesday evening.


Rain continues through Wednesday night.


The heaviest rain will fall north of I-70.


Thursday will begin with clouds and a few sprinkles.


Skies will clear Friday.


We’ll see near record highs in the upper 70s Saturday.


A cold front will bring a cool down on Sunday.
