Police: Woman arrested after scuffling with trooper, breaking windows
VIGO COUNTY, Ind. – Indiana State Police arrested woman accused of breaking windows and scuffling with a trooper.
According to ISP, dispatchers received reports about a reckless driver speeding on Park Avenue in a silver Ford Crown Victoria around 1 a.m. Tuesday.
Moments after that, a woman was reportedly breaking windows at a family member’s home in the 5400 block of North 14 ½ Street. The woman may have also broken windows at another home near Park Avenue.

Trooper Brad Fyfe responded to the area, where he found the suspect’s vehicle parked in the middle of the road with the driver’s side door open.
The woman—later identified as 49-year-old Rhonda L. Booe—ran toward the road and yelled obscenities at the trooper, police said. A scuffle then ensued; Fyfe took Booe into custody shortly afterwards.
Fyfe suffered a minor injury to his head during the scuffle and was also bitten by a dog from a neighboring home. He and Booe were treated for minor injuries at Terre Haute Union Hospital.
Booe was then taken to Vigo County Jail on multiple charges including resisting law enforcement, battery with bodily injury, battery on a public safety official and disorderly conduct.
