Good Thursday morning everyone! Rain and thunderstorms began yesterday afternoon and have continued through the overnight. The precipitation won't move out until overnight.
Not only are we looking at a wet day but also a cool one. Northerly winds 10 to 20 mph will add a chill to the air. Temperatures won't change much today, holding in the mid 50s.
There will be breaks in the rain but overall it will be steady all day.
The system pulls off to the east overnight taking the rain with it and leaving the cooler airmass in its wake. A few lake effect showers are possible north of Indy on Friday.
Temperatures remain below normal in the 50s Friday and Saturday. Over the weekend high pressure builds back in returning the sunshine to the state. Temperatures will return to normal in the mid to upper 60s for most of next week.
