Police searching for suspects who vandalized Grant County home by smashing toilets, painting graffiti

GRANT COUNTY, Ind. – Detectives with the Grant County Sheriff’s Department are investigating after someone caused extensive damage to a home.

The suspects knocked several holes in the drywall, smashed toilets, pulled cabinets off the walls and spray painted graffiti inside the home. The home is located in the 6000 block of County Road 1050 East.

Police released several photos of the damage showing the home littered with debris. Holes are visible in the walls along with graffiti that says “Upland redneck” and “Eastbrooke suck.” The vandalism happened between Sept. 16 and Sept. 19, investigators said.

Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at (765) 662- 8477 (TIPS). The Crime Stoppers tip line is staffed 24 hours a day and tipsters remain anonymous. Information that results in the arrest or indictment of an individual on felony charges could be eligible for a $1,000 cash reward.
