16-year-old sent to hospital after being shot on southeast side
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Police are investigating after a 16-year-old was shot on the city’s southeast side Sunday evening.
Officers were called to the shooting in the 6100 block of Castleford Drive around 5:31 p.m.
Police say the teenage victim was walking when a black SUV occupied by an unknown suspect fired a round of shots at the victim, striking him in the neck and shoulder.
The victim was transported to Sidney and Lois Eskenazi Hospital in good condition.
Officers have no suspect information and no crime scene.
