Warming up this weekend

After a couple of cool days our weather will take a warmer turn this weekend. We’ll have a chance for a few showers north of I-70 on Sunday as a warm front moves north of the state. Highs will be in the 70s to near 80 on Saturday and Sunday and our warm up will continue into next week as decades old record highs could be exceeded.  A cold front will move across the state Wednesday and temperatures will tumble as rain falls. Rain will continue into Thursday and our cool down will continue.
