Temperatures in the 80s are on their way

A warm up will begin across central Indiana on Tuesday. We ‘ll have morning fog with a sunny, breezy afternoon. A weather system out west will soon move this way and bring a chance for rain. Energy from Hurricane Matthew will slow our next weather system down and will give us a daily chance for rain to end the week.

Patchy dense fog is likely Tuesday morning.

Hurricane Matthew is a category 4 hurricane with sustained winds of 140 mph and is moving north at 6 miles per hour.  Extreme flash flooding and mudslides are likely from the 15-25 inches of rain the storms will bring to Haiti, Jamaica, Cubs and the Dominican Republic.

At this time Matthew is not expected make landfall on the US. mainland.
