Good evening everyone. It was another soggy day with off and on showers and a couple of thunderstorms. Unfortunately rain chances will continue through Friday Night Football. Temperatures will be cool, falling into the upper 50s as the games wrap up.

The upper level low that has been sitting over the region for the past several days sticks with us on Saturday as well.

More showers and a couple of thunderstorms are on the way as we start off the weekend. Small hail is possible with any of the stronger storms. We could see an additional half an inch of rain through Sunday morning.

Afternoon highs are still running below topping out in the mid 60s.

On Sunday the low pressure system finally pulls off to the northeast taking most of the precipitation with it. A few spotty showers are still possible Sunday but a lot of the area will remain dry. Temperatures are on a warming trend into the middle of next week as high pressure builds in and returns sunshine to the state. Our next cold front moves in Thursday into Friday returning rain and cooler temperatures.
