INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The much anticipated Colts-Jaguars game in London is only days away.
Sunday marks the first time in franchise history that the Colts will play in London.
For fans not heading across the pond, the Colts have local events planned as well.
Of course it’s a Blue Friday, this time with a bit of British flair.
On Friday from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., Colts fans are invited to English pub the Red Lion Grog House in Fountain Square. Cheerleaders will hand out London game posters, fans can register to win Colts London scarves and they can enjoy specials on pints and fish and chips.
Organizers say, local events add to the excitement of how unique this game is.
“Whether you’re going to the game or not we really tried to make sure there is something that you can do, some way that you can show your support for the team,” said Stephanie Pemberton with the Indianapolis Colts. “We definitely are excited to see our fan support and encourage them to just continue that, and whether it’s a home or away game, bleed blue and show your support.”
On game day itself, some local Buffalo Wild Wings are hosting Gameday Meetups, with doors opening at 9 a.m.
Then, the Colts-Jaguars kickoff at 9:30 a.m. ET Sunday at Wembley Stadium.
That game airs on our news partners CBS4.
