Today will not be a washout, but showers will be the most widespread this morning. By the lunch hour we'll be dry and then a clearing line will move across the state from west to east, so you can expect abundant sunshine by the time you leave work or school today.
This cold front will usher in more Fall-like temperatures. We'll see a high of 70 today, but even cooler air will move in by the middle of the week.
Our next rain chance will be Wednesday. A low will spin across the Great Lakes, and as a result highs will only reach the 60s with morning lows in the 40s. Showers will be spotty on Wednesday.
Temperatures will get closer to the average again by the weekend with sunshine.
