INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. --Good Monday afternoon! What an awesome day it has turned out to be. We had 0.54 inches of rain in Indianapolis this morning and then the sky cleared giving way to beautiful sunshine. Temperatures have rebounded to near 70 degrees this afternoon with breezy west winds. Tonight, look for temperatures to cool quickly under a clear sky. We'll have 50s into the 10 p.m. hour.

Temperatures will drop to the upper 40s into Tuesday morning. It will be the first time Indy has had 40s since May 22 when the low got to 47 degrees.

Tuesday will bring plenty of sunshine, low humidity and highs in the low 70s. The winds will start out light but increase through the day with gusts to 25 mph.

An low-pressure system will move south into Indiana Wednesday and hang around just to our east through the end of the week. This will bring more clouds Wednesday with rain chances from mid-to-end week. Highs will only be in the low to mid-60s Wednesday and struggle to get to 70 degrees through the end of the week. The low looks to finally depart by Sunday with temperatures rebounding into the mid-70s. --Danielle Dozier
