Muncie man facing charges after allegedly having sex with 14-year-old
MUNCIE, Ind. – A 21-year-old Muncie man was arrested Thursday for allegedly having sex with a 14-year-old girl.
The victim told officials at the Child Advocacy Center that Tray Leon’tae Pegue had sex with her in an Eaton home on August 28. The teen said Pegue knew how old she was when they had intercourse.
The victim’s mother says she confronted Pegue when he was leaving her home and he kept saying he was 17 years old.

Pegue was taken in for questioning on September 22, at which time he told officers that he and the victim had rubbed each other’s genitals, according to a probable cause affidavit.
Pegue is facing two counts of sexual misconduct with a minor, a class 4 felony. His bail was set at $20,000 cash or surety.
