INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — The Circle City Classic returns to Indianapolis for its 33rd annual game. This year’s match up features Central State University Marauders and Kentucky State University Thorobreds.

But before the game kicks off, don’t miss the Circle City Classic Parade, which is set for Saturday, Sept. 24 at 10 a.m. through 12 p.m. in downtown Indy.

Nearly 100,000 spectators gather each year to witness the pageantry, celebrities, floats and marching bands as they wind their way through the streets of Indianapolis. Parade grand marshals have included renowned celebrities such as Jerry Rice, Kelly Rowland, Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, Soulfood’s Boris Kodjoe and Grammy Award-winning gospel recording artist, Yolanda Adams.

This year’s parade will feature national recording artist Ro James as grand marshal.
