Two hot humid days to get through before rain chances return Thursdayh thru Saturday
Today will be the 28th 90+ degree day that we’ve seen so far this summer. That coupled with high humidity will make it feel like 100 by 3pm today. We’ll see heat indices in the same ball park tomorrow with some minor relief arriving for the second half of the week.
We have very small rain chances this afternoon. Most will stay dry, however after 3pm, an isolated T-shower may pop. If you happen to get under one, a brief heavy downpour will be possible, but any storms that do fire up will die back down by 8pm.
We’ll see much of the same on Wednesday. Thursday through Saturday will feature heavier rain and higher T-storm chances. Most will see 1-2″ of rain fall over that 72 hour period, with some locally higher amounts.
By Sunday we’ll see low humidity return and temperatures in the 70s.
