ANDERSON, Ind.– Police are searching for a suspect after a home invasion in Anderson.
Officers were called to the 1500 block of East 30th Street just before noon Tuesday.
A suspect allegedly came to the door of the home and knocked. As soon as the door opened, a suspect punched the victim and entered the house. The suspect then threw the homeowner to the ground in the kitchen, and continued to hit him.

The two suspects then fled the home and got into a vehicle that was waiting for them. The vehicle is described as a silver Pontiac Vibe, Chevrolet Equinox or similar SUV-type vehicle.
The suspects took cash and a couple of guns. Police said the victim wasn’t sure exactly what guns were stolen.
